Stan the Man, comprised of high school friends Lianne Davidoff and Brian Siegel, is an electronic melodic house duo named after the drawing mannequin they hid throughout the apartment they shared. Roommates by fate, friends by choice, their musical journey began with StilLi, a pop rock project incepted by Lianne in which Brian collaborated as the keyboardist. Lianne, originally not acquainted with the world of electronic music, found herself immersed when Brian offered her a friends extra ticket to Electric Forest four days before the festival. Since that leap of faith, over a year ago, Lianne and Brian have been an inseparable team. Lianne's lyric-writing and vocal abilities complement Brian's electronic compositional skills and vocal inabilities. Together, they aim to reflect the beauty of the natural world through synthesis and songwriting.
